This year I don’t have to brainstorm to come up with New Year’s resolutions - I have had them fresh in my mind for weeks now. I guess I could have already begun to tackle them but I’m still me and I’m rather...lazy.
1) Become fancy
And by that I mean that this year I will be interested in fashion and follow cute style-blog-girls’ ideas and clean out my closet and buy key pieces and use words like ruche and tartan. And deal with this space which houses all of my and Manu’s clothes. Yes, friends. All. (Cute style-blog-girls might want to breathe into a paper bag before looking.)
2) Host a huge Zumba event
This town is slowly but surely catching on to the magic of Zumba and its powers to slim down your love handles. But I think a big party in a piazza somewhere would really do the trick.
3) Interview famous Barlettanos
There are so many gems out there - like the horse man - who need me to tap into their undiscovered talents! Plus, I know the Mayor. Now that will really skyrocket readership!
Why more automatic cars don’t exist here is beyond me. Think of the ease, people! When you’re in a traffic jam caused by a marching band you don’t want to be shifting. Anyway, this is a skill that you just need to know how to do.
[If only I had the old Camry out here. Alas.]
HAPPY NEW YEAR, FRIENDS! Remember, drink water in between your champagne and no one gets hurt. And if you forget, you can always wear this tomorrow. Have fun!
