If you look over my notes from my trip to Paris, you’ll see that they’re just lists of what everyone was wearing. (That and lists of everything I ate.) They go a little something like this:
-red pants. yes.
-tights and shorts are cool apparently.
-cute sundresses with a belt. never underestimate a good belt!
-moccassin flats
-black tights, navy/polka dot skirt, chartreuse blazer
-tucking in a t-shirt makes a difference.
-black blazer, black tee, black capris, brown leather bag = it works!
-grey skinny jeans, blue button down, wedges, bag, bun.
I could have sat there at Bar de la Croix Rouge jotting down people’s outfits for day’s on end drinking that minty Perrier drink everyone gets at aperitif time. So here’s a round up of what my notes tell me are essential Parisan girl style.
[10 Crosby blazer, Madewell perfect leather belt, Etoile Isabel Marant linen t-shirt, Romwe leopard flats, J Brand skinny jeans, Longchamp large handbag]
I'm so excited for a weekend with nothing to do - now I can sew the button on my coat that popped off, organize my kitchen cabinets and still have time to grab a martini with my fellow expat Erica on Saturday night!
What do you have planned, my dear friends?

I love all of these pieces! The shoes are insanely adorable :) Great picks!
ReplyDeletePIECE OF CAKE. PEACE OF MIND.
Well, I love this outfit, would totally wear it! And I love Longchamp's Le Pliage bags, they really are the best, especially when traveling, they are light, fold into a tiny square and are child-proof! (meaning they are nylon so they dry up pretty quickly!) ;)
ReplyDeleteI think white v-neck t-shirts are one of the most versatile pieces ever. And I love that you took notes of what everyone was wearing!
ReplyDeleteso cute!
ReplyDeletei am forever inspired by the french! i just got a longchamp bag for christmas & i'm smitten!

Um, jotting down notes about what the French girls are wearing sounds like one of the funnest things to do in Paris! Some day when I am in Paris again, I will tell the husband "let's go read in Luxembourg Gardens" and he'll pull out some book about peace or politics or science and I'll pull out a glossy with a notebook hidden inside. Yes! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAmazing outfit! I am in love with those pink pants!
ReplyDeletePink denim/pants are on my spring shopping list for sure! Love that pop of color!!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so perfect, I need to get some red pants and a new blazer. Thanks for some shopping inspirations.
