lately

Hello friends! Today I’m on a bit of a field trip as official translator for Manu’s company! It feels like take-your-girlfriend-to-work day, and I’m psyched. Basically, some foreigners are coming and being they need me to interpret. I’m just crossing my fingers they don’t bust out the insurance jargon, or else I’ll have to pretend I know what I’m talking about!

[a creepy abandoned building that always has me guessing, "who lived here?"]
[amazing fried calamari, shrimp (with eyeballs, ew) and zucchini strips. stellar.]
[the internal octogon of castel del monte]
[giuseppe loves his uncle manu!]
[a beautifully made trullo, farmer stone dwelling]

Have a great day everyone! Buona giornata

  2. Sounds like fun!  I think "take your girlfriend to work day" is a great idea - it should be implemented as a worldwide requirement :)

  10. Sounds like fun!

I love that abandoned building.  You know what's funny?  I totally get why you'd describe it as creepy but I see it and think it would be perfect for an engagement or bridal photo shoot.  I love contrast older, slightly run-down architecture with the beauty of a young couple in love.  (Alcatraz is on my list of top places to shoot so that should tell you how I feel about old creepy buildings!)
