When I met Manu, he was like an infant when it came to American pop culture. I had to teach him about Oprah, how to eat a hot dog, the rules of baseball, yard sales, Saturday Night Live, Scrabble, bagels, lemonade stands, Sesame Street...
The list goes on and will continue to, I'm sure.
Even though some things are weird to him, (saying "bless you," so much air conditioning, etc.) he always keeps an open mind, always appreciates anything American.
I know he does it for me.
And throughout all of my teachings, I realized how much my home means to me,
and how lucky I am to have someone by my side who can turn to me and say,
"Man, I wish we had some salsa and chips and a Bud Light Lime right now."
I love you Manu, I love you America!

Such a sweet picture :) I've also loved showing Jurgen American and introducing him to all our funny cultural oddities, it's just the best!
