goodbye america!

Two months have flown right past me and now, two days from now, I'll be on a 330 Airbus headed back to Barletta. This summer, like all of my summers home, was truly great. I did exactly what I wanted to do (eat) and took care of some business (a blog project that's coming soon!) and got to spend some amazingly memorable times with family and friends (family Labor Day party complete with karaoke, priceless.)
[Traveling with my wedding dress is going to be interesting, stay tuned for that update on Monday morning.]

I mentioned before that we hadn't found an apartment yet, and though we were optimistic, the situation was looking grim. But Manu found one, ladies and gentlemen, and let's just say it's going to make for some AMAZING food blogging. The kitchen...oh boy...the kitchen.
I can't wait to start another year in Barletta with all of you! Thanks for following along! Ciao!

P.S. And if you're curious what it is I love about Barletta, go check out my post on Sara's blog today!

  7. I traveled to the Netherlands with my dress in a LARGE 2 ply zipped garment bag AND it was easy. Once people realize you're carrying a wedding dress they get all happy for you and want to talk about your wedding etc. Safe travels :)
