Consider this my holiday card to you, a traveling group of Italian Christmas carol singers, caught from my balcony. (Complete with traffic jam, typical!)
As much as I love being here at Christmas, and getting to witness moments like the one above, for the first time in four years I will be home for the holidays. It feels so surreal!
My dear friends, I wish you a festive and bright holiday, wherever you are in the world.

This is adorable, happy holidays to you!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome! Thank you for sharing the Christmas love from Italy!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet, Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a balcony/singing event I had in Rome. It was Spring and our hotel window was open. By 3am, the traffic slowed down enough to open the window and still be able to sleep. Three stories below, there was a gentleman repainting the stripes on the crosswalk and he was singing at the top of his lungs. I have no idea what he was singing. For all I know, it could have been the phone book....since ANYTHING sung in Italian is more beautiful than the words themselves. Buon Natale! (I hope I spelled it correct)
I wish we could bring back old school caroling to the U.S. It's SO cheerful!
